A.T.R.A African traditional religion association.

We've all heard the history. One can say that a believer or practitioner of African spirituality, religions or systems hasn't always been safe.. As we live in modern times it is a Call for modern evolution. The ATRA is not a cult. This is not a coven. You do not have to be initiated. You do not have to belong to a temple, ile, worship house or munanso. You don't have to be part of Santeria, ifa, palo, 21 division Lucumì, Candomblé, hoodoo groups, etc. Come as you are, with nothing to offer but faith.

This association is a safe space for those who wish to practice African traditional religions, practices or belief systems freely. So people can finally begin to awaken.

We focus on ancestral communication & breaking Generational Curses, African celebrations and holidays,(Juneteenth, All saints day, Hoodoo Heritage Month etc) We have yearly spirituality growth events such as meditation & Kundalini yoga. We orchestrate workshops to teach about history, Altars, rituals, ceremonies, Cemetery work.

You are free to come as you are. We do not charge for any of these events. We are not obligated to have a row task or duty if you do not wish.

We also teach a heavy history such as The African American slave trade and the French revolution with our brothers and sisters in Haiti. We evealuate how they were able to use these spiritual practices to overcome oppression, It was mistakes they made along the way and how we can improve in today's society.

The Main Goal for this association is for us to preserve African culture, grow more spiritual as Africans all over the world, and grow more conscious. So Ancient cultures that has helped our ancestors for centuries do not die off.

As African people we live, stand and die for liberation. No matter where we are found, We want to practice, believe and teach our family whatever we choose, without having to worry about oppression, racism conflict or the physical safety. We believe in equality for All no matter gender and beyond, for all living beings. We acknowledge all of the genocide, oppression and trauma that we have faced living in America just for being titled African. We fight and teach for liberation to practice African spirituality and to preserve the ancient culture that was here before all.

African traditional religions deserve HONOR &

PEACE.

If you desire to participate, support or join the association We have many leading roles & positions available. We have multiple chapters being started in Michigan, Ohio, New Jersey, California, Louisiana & South Carolina.
